Products & Solutions

Aurora Satellite Terminal
Aurora Satellite Terminal
A Ka-band satellite terminal for broadband communications with satellites in geostationary and other orbits. Aurora uses intelligent phased array antennas with electronic beam steering, enabling fast and reliable connectivity without mechanically-steered dishes. It targets commercial and government users requiring high-throughput SATCOM links.
SATCOM Chipsets
SATCOM Chipsets
Microwave chipsets for transmit/receive functions in Ka-band phased array antennas, developed jointly with Swedish firm Sivers Semiconductors AB. Thorium claims the chipsets perform at least two generations ahead of competing products. They are designed for both ground terminals and space applications.
Digital Communication Payload
Digital Communication Payload
Fully digital telecommunications payloads for satellites operating in Ku/Ka band, designed and manufactured in-house. Thorium is one of two European companies producing fully digital payloads and the first to offer an integrated Ku/Ka-band system as a single unit. These payloads form the core of the HummingSAT KryptonSAT programme under ESA.
