WaiV Autonomous Landing Platform
A deck-mounted, self-levelling landing pad that lets VTOL drones take off and land on moving vessels without any hardware or software changes to the aircraft. A patent-pending catch-lock-release mechanism secures the drone on touchdown to prevent slip, rollover or loss, while AI-based guidance handles the final approach and landing automatically. Works with multirotor, fixed-wing and helicopter drones up to 15 kg, on vessels as small as 10 metres, in rain, wind and rough seas.
