Master Data & Planning Performance Lead

As MyDefence continues to grow, reliable master data, strong data quality and effective planning processes become increasingly important. We are building and maturing our foundation within these areas and are looking for someone who can combine structured data discipline, process understanding and analytical strength with a hands-on approach.

We are looking for a Master Data & Planning Performance Lead who enjoys working directly with data while also seeing the bigger picture. You will ensure accurate and reliable data in our daily operations while contributing to the standards, governance and processes that will support our continued growth.

You will join our Global Planning & S&OP team and work closely with the Director of Global Planning & S&OP. Based at our office in Nørresundby, you will collaborate with stakeholders across MyDefence and play an important role in building a scalable, reliable and data-driven foundation that supports effective operations across sites and functions

What you will do

Your role will combine hands-on execution, analysis and development. Initially, your time will be equally split between daily operational tasks and building stronger structures and processes. As our master data and planning foundation matures, the role is expected to develop towards greater responsibility for governance, standards and planning performance.

Master data and data quality

• Build, maintain and govern product data, attributes and data models.

• Ensure accurate data updates, validations and planning inputs as part of the daily operation.

• Establish monitoring, automated validations and structured processes for identifying and correcting data quality issues.

• Help create a stable and reliable master data foundation across systems and business functions.

Processes and collaboration

• Standardise and create workflows around master data and mature the way we work with master data

• Work across system landscapes and create clarity around dependencies between systems, data and processes.

• Collaborate closely with commercial teams, operations, product management and other stakeholders to create alignment and translate business needs into practical data and process improvements.

Planning performance and insights

• Develop dashboards and data models that provide insights into data quality and planning performance.

• Develop KPI frameworks supporting planning performance, including forecast accuracy, bias monitoring, availability and flow performance.

• Use data and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and support decision making within operations.

Who we are looking for

You likely have a relevant educational background within master data management, data analytics, business intelligence, supply chain, or a related field. More importantly, you bring solid practical experience working with data and processes in a business environment.

You understand that strong master data is not just about maintaining information in a system. You are able to see how data flows across functions, connect it to operational and business needs and turn it into structures and insights that create value.

We imagine that you bring:

• Approximately 5–10 years of relevant experience within master data, data quality, data analytics, process development or supply chain.

• Experience working with master data and a good understanding of how data flows across systems and business functions.

• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to turn data into meaningful business insights.

• Practical experience with BI tools and data analysis, without necessarily being an advanced BI developer.

• Experience with process standardisation, data quality and governance.

• Good business understanding and experience working cross-functionally to connect data and processes with operational and business needs.

What you get

At MyDefence, you will step into a central and global role with the opportunity to help build and mature our foundation for master data, data quality and planning performance. From the start, you will combine hands-on execution with development, giving you both a close understanding of the data and processes and the opportunity to shape how we work with them going forward.

The role comes with a clear development path. During the first 12 months, the focus will be equally split between execution and development, with particular attention to data quality, master data structures and process standards. As the foundation matures, the operational workload is expected to decrease while your responsibility for governance, KPI frameworks and data standards increases.
