Compiler Engineer (SIMT)
We are looking for a Compiler Engineer who will set up the initial compiler for the SIMT execution mode of our universal processing array. Focus areas include, but are not limited to: Bringing up an initial LLVM-based compiler for our SIMT execution mode; back-end development (e.g., instruction selection, code generation for predicated execution); branch-divergence handling and predication strategies; selection, reuse and adaptation of an appropriate existing LLVM front end; providing feedback to hardware designers.
Prospective team members require strong C++ skills and LLVM experience (IR/middle-end and back-end), and experience with compilers for SIMT (e.g., CUDA, OpenCL); b preferred. Knowledge of predicated execution and branch-divergence handling is a strong plus.
Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years of hands-on experience in a relevant role are desired.
Relocation required. Currently 4 days on-site, 1 day remote. Policy may change.
