Job Description
At Stark, we forge the future of European and national security through cutting-edge, AI-driven technology and unmatched engineering precision. As a premier defence technology company, our mission is clear: to equip NATO Allies and their partners with next-generation autonomous defence platforms and advanced AI-driven software built to perform in the world’s most demanding environments.
We believe that true security stems from relentless innovation. By combining elite engineering talent with agile technology and an AI-native operational culture, Stark turns complex defence challenges into field-tested, multi-domain solutions.
Why Join Us?
-
The software and systems you work on directly protect personnel and defend European and national sovereignty.
-
You will work alongside industry-leading minds on autonomous systems, advanced propulsion, and secure cyber platforms.
-
We foster a fast-paced, collaborative environment where bold ideas are supported by serious R&D backing.
Your Mission
You assemble electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensor gimbals and downward optical-flow navigation cameras to strict technical specifications and aerospace quality standards. You aren't just turning screws; you are operating in a precision clean assembly environment, performing mechanical lens alignment, balance tuning, and precision harness soldering for miniature slip-rings.
Responsibilities
-
Sensor Gimbal Assembly: Assemble electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensor gimbals and downward optical-flow navigation cameras following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
-
Precision Alignment & Soldering: Perform mechanical lens alignment, dynamic balance tuning, and precision harness soldering for miniature slip-rings and micro-connectors.
-
Optical & Stabilization Checks: Execute automated optical calibration and gimbal stabilization checks on bench test fixtures prior to final airframe installation.
-
In-Process Quality Checks: Perform in-process visual inspections, mechanical fit checks, and torque verifications with calibrated micro-torque drivers.
-
Cleanroom & 5S: Maintain workstations clean, organized (5S cleanroom standards), and properly stocked with calibrated tools, optical wipes, and consumables.
-
Defect Flagging: Flag assembly defects, component mismatches, or optical deviations immediately to the production lead.
Required Skills
-
Technical vocational training or 1+ years of experience in manual electro-mechanical assembly, precision optics, camera assembly, or electronics manufacturing.
-
Skilled in using fine hand tools, precision torque drivers, calipers, microscopes, and fine-pitch soldering equipment.
-
Ability to follow written assembly instructions, optical alignment protocols, and technical drawings accurately.
-
Basic to working knowledge of English (Greek is an advantage).
-
Must be a citizen of a NATO member state (due to export control and security regulations).
