Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Perform thermal analysis of electronic platforms; develop simplified thermal models.

Design heat sinks, liquid cooling (cold plates, heat exchangers), heat pipes, TIM selection for high-power electronic assemblies; design HVAC/conditioning systems for sealed electronic enclosures (e.g., in military vehicles), including humidity and condensation calculations.

Conduct board- and system-level tests using thermocouples, DAQ systems, IR thermography; correlate test results with simulations.

Define thermal requirements for components, approve drawings, collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to optimize component placement.

Reports, technical specifications, presentations at design reviews (PDR, CDR); mentoring junior engineers.
Required Skills:
-
Master's Degree in thermo physics, heat engineering, materials science, mechanics, physics or related specialties and a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience

Excellent knowledge of heat/mass transfer, fluid dynamics, CFD, mechanics with a focus on electronics cooling application, technology of advanced materials.

Hands-on experience in electronics industry, including thermal and thermal-mechanical management at component, board and system level, advanced materials.

Experience in system thermal architecture design for electronic products would be an advantage.

Proficiency in FEA analysis tools (ANSYS Fluent, ANSYS Thermal Mechanical, ANSYS Mechanical, FloTHERM, Icepak, Comsol, OpenFoam) and ability to perform complex thermal analysis to guide design.

Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong feeling and interest for development and to share experiences with others in the team and have a proven capability to pursue creative solutions.

Language skills: upper intermediate spoken and written English.

Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred.
