Defence companies in Ukraine

Ukraine's defence tech market reached $6.8 billion in 2025, built almost entirely on companies iterating hardware against live combat conditions. The country went from roughly seven domestic drone manufacturers before the full-scale invasion to around 500, producing four million drones in 2025 and targeting seven million in 2026. The electronic warfare sector, valued at $220 million, is moving from one-off field solutions toward serial production of software-defined jamming systems, with companies like Himera and Swarmer among those drawing international investor attention.
