Its product, the Shotling Gun, is an electrically driven, gatling-style rotary shotgun with a linkless, high-capacity onboard magazine (patent pending) that holds more than 30 engagements before reload. It fires standard or tungsten-based 12-gauge shells at rates up to 3,000 rounds per minute, has an effective range of 50 to 100 meters and can elevate beyond 90 degrees to engage drones diving in at steep angles. Shotling says the system achieves a cost-to-kill ratio better than 1:10 against low-cost FPV drones. It is built for flexible integration, as the primary weapon on small remote weapon stations, a secondary system on larger RWS platforms, or mounted manually on tripods, ring mounts and vehicles such as 4x4s and infantry squad vehicles.

The company was one of nine finalists selected from 162 submissions for the 16th NATO Innovation Challenge in Tallinn in June 2025, a competition focused on countering fibre-optic FPV drones. Shotling says the concept has drawn support from Ukrainian frontline units and defence companies. In February 2026 the company closed an oversubscribed pre-seed round of €700,000, above its original €500,000 target, led by Myriad Defense Fund with IPO CLUB's Fund II America 2030 and a non-dilutive match-loan from EIFO, Denmark's export and investment fund.
