Overview

Marduk Technologies focuses on the development of electro-optical systems for drone detection, classification, and targeting. Our products combine precision mechanics, electronics, and sensing to counteract UAV's.

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with a passion for innovation and a drive to contribute to national safety. You would help to build real-time optical drone-detection and tracking systems on physical edge computing hardware: Python, multi-camera tracking and fusion, async messaging, the processing hub, and the operator UI. You would own features end to end in this pipeline and work with the physical product, not just code.

What we are looking for

• Strong Python: concurrency (threads/async), profiling, memory and performance tuning.

• Embedded Linux development on ARM (Jetson or similar).

• Object detection/tracking solutions (DNN models, etc.).

• Experience building HW+SW products: cameras, gimbals, sensors, USB debugging, working from a bench.

• Real-time pipeline: 60-120 fps per camera, low latency, performance-critical code.

• Solid git/GitLab, testing discipline (pytest), CI.

• Fluency in English and Estonian.

Bonus

• Lightweight messaging infrastructure, GStreamer or similar media pipelines.

• Experience with gimbal/servo control or IMU/INS data.

• Has shipped an edge-vision product to the field.
