Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Department: Engineering / Hardware Development – Design Location: Neufahrn near Freising, Germany Start Date: As soon as possible

Your Responsibilities

  • Independently design and create all construction and development documents for components, assemblies, prototypes, and rack systems using CAD tools

  • Prepare manufacturing documents, bills of materials, material master data, and all necessary documentation for smooth order processing

  • Ensure compliance with contractual specifications such as shock resistance, temperature, maintainability, and relevant quality standards

  • Create and maintain material master data in Business Central

  • Clarify technical details and coordinate internally and externally

Your Profile

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or further qualification as a certified mechanical technician, or a comparable qualification (e.g., university degree)

  • Solid experience using 3D CAD programs, preferably Autodesk Inventor

  • Good working knowledge of PDM systems (Autodesk Inventor/Vault, Dynamics 365 Business Central) and MS Office is desirable

  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented approach while working in a team

  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
