Radar System Engineer

• Reports to: Director

• Job purpose: Design, development and testing of radar sensors

• Location: Metasensing, Via Aniene 2, Milan, Italy

• Employment condition: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Candidate must be eligible to work in the EU.

Job Duties:

• Radar design and performance analysis for spaceborne and airborne radar

• Radar system engineering

• Radar system integration and test

• Documentation of system design, integration and test

Required skills and qualifications:

Candidate must have permission to work in the EU.

• Strong knowledge of radar system principles

• Strong knowledge of RF and microwave engineering

• Understanding of RF/microwave theory (e.g. wave propagation)

• Understanding of the design process (from concept through to delivery and in-service support)

• Experience with microwave components, i.e. downconverter, LNA, filtering, amplifiers, mixer, transmit/receive module

• Ability to think logically and to decompose a problem into its component parts

• Good knowledge of the English language for the working environment

• Good communication and team-working skills

Desired Skills / Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in the field
