Job Description

  • Reports to: Engineer manager

  • Job purpose: Processing of airborne and/or satellite SAR data

  • Location: Metasensing, Via Aniene 2, Milan, Italy / Leiden, The Netherlands

  • Employment condition: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Candidate must be eligible to work in the EU.

Job Duties:

  • SAR raw data analysis (navigation data and radar data)

  • Generation of acquisition strategies and time line, i.e. TOPSAR beam timeline

  • Airborne/Satellite interferometric processing

  • Focusing of airborne/satellite SAR images

  • Documentation of processing design, integration and test

Required skills and qualifications:

Candidate must have permission to work in the EU.

  • Documented experience in processing SAR data

  • Ability to think logically and to decompose a problem into its component parts

  • Good knowledge of the English language for the working environment

  • Good communication and team-working skills

Desired Skills / Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the field
