The company operates through two complementary lines. QLab is its security audit and consulting arm, staffed by expert engineers who cover vulnerability research, reverse engineering, cryptography, embedded systems, penetration testing and secure software architecture. QShield is its commercial software protection suite, built to safeguard intellectual property, cryptographic keys and application code on edge devices throughout their full lifecycle.

Quarkslab holds an ANSSI Security Visa, the French national cybersecurity authority's stamp of approval for security service providers, which it renewed in 2023. Its QShield white-box cryptography implementation was the first in the world to achieve EMVCo certification for software-based mobile payment solutions. In 2016, the company won a NATO defence innovation challenge and received a Gartner Cool Vendor award. It has offices in Paris, Rennes and Buenos Aires.
