The Context

As part of our recent integration into the Safran Group, our business is taking on a new dimension. Indeed, this integration allows us to significantly expand and enrich our product range, while benefiting from new synergies and development prospects.

It is in this context of growth and renewed ambition that we are looking for a GNSS Receivers Test & Validation Engineer to strengthen our Engineering Department and support the development of our product lines, in parallel with the management of strategic and ambitious projects.

What you’ll accomplish with Syntony GNSS

You will join the software development department for the Receivers product range to develop innovative applications for the rail, space, aeronautics or defense sectors requiring high-level performance for demanding environments.

You are in charge of the validation phase within the department to evaluate the performance of the receiving products as well as their compliance with the specifications.

The missions that will be entrusted to you

  • You will manage the validation process (test strategy, test plan, reports, traceability matrix with requirements, root cause analysis, etc.) and follow-up of anomalies before the final phase of deliveries and production,

  • You will participate in bench tests and coordinate the work of other engineers as needed,

  • You execute the validation plans,

  • You will contribute to the technological watch in a continuous improvement process.

The technical skills we are looking for

  • Experience in software engineering (software quality repository, code coverage and traceability tool, continuous integration)

  • Experience in C or C++ and Python for writing tests; the use of standard framework is a plus

  • Experience in implementing continuous integration solutions in the embedded field

  • Knowledge of development environments such as Git, Gitlab

  • Knowledge of bug tracking and traceability tools such as JIRA, MantisBT

  • Knowledge of GNSS (RF, Signal Processing, etc.)

About you

With a Master’s degree in computer science or electronics, you have at least 3 years’ experience in software development and the production of test plans and have participated in design and integration or validation tasks in the field of embedded systems.
