Job Description
eleQtron develops and operates full-stack quantum computers based on trapped-ion technology. Quantum computing is a new computing paradigm rapidly approaching commercial viability.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will develop and analyze high-fidelity quantum gate mechanisms for trapped-ion processors. You will contribute to the theoretical modeling of physical interactions, translate them into optimized hardware-aware schemes, and collaborate with the experimental team.
-
Develop theoretical models for single- and multi-qubit gate operations
-
Analyze and optimize gate performance under realistic noise conditions
-
Design and refine pulse schemes for robust quantum control
-
Develop effective noise models
-
Contribute to performance benchmarking and model validation
-
Work at the interface between hardware and theory
Required skills:
-
PhD in Physics or a closely related field
-
Strong background in quantum optics and quantum technologies
-
Excellent analytical skills in theoretical modeling
-
Ability to work effectively in an international, interdisciplinary team
-
Background in quantum control, open quantum systems, and quantum-classical noise is highly desirable
-
Experience with trapped-ion systems is highly valued
