Within the project the student(s) will have to investigate the following:

Investigate which processes/components are eligible for cost reduction

Redesign processes/components
-
Update CaseMaster (VABO ERP-system) to implement changes to product
-
Make detailed cost comparison with traditional methods
VABO states that the outcome of the project has to meet the following requirements:

Cost reduction of complete door by 40% or more
-
No implications on quality/performance
-
For new components/processes, complete supply chain mapped out fully integrated in CaseMaster
