Software Engineer (C++)

At Metis Aerospace, we design and build advanced hardware and software systems that deliver real-world insight from complex data. Our software team creates the tools and systems that bring our technology to life, and we're looking for another engineer to join us.

Key Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer, you will work on the development of C++ applications that integrate directly with our in-house hardware. You will be involved in everything from designing and implementing new features to testing your software on live systems.

You will collaborate with hardware and systems engineers, helping to turn ideas into working products. This is a hands-on and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems and wants to see their work in action.

• Strong understanding of C++ and object-oriented programming

• A practical approach to problem-solving and delivering working solutions

• Comfortable working as part of a small, multi-disciplinary team

Desirable Experience & Skills

• Experience with Qt for UI design and development

• Understanding of how software interacts with FPGA-based systems or embedded hardware

• Background knowledge of RF systems or electronic warfare

• Experience in building or operating drones

• Interest in aerospace, sensing, or complex data systems
