Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the full procurement cycle for assigned categories — from supplier sourcing and qualification to negotiation, ordering, and ongoing supplier management.

• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, lead time, technological capability, and overall total cost of ownership.

• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment conditions, lead times, and delivery requirements with suppliers.

• Monitor supplier performance and proactively manage supply risks, including alternative suppliers and critical material availability.

• Maintain accurate supplier, purchasing, and pricing information in ERP/CRM systems and ensure data integrity.

• Coordinate procurement needs with Manufacturing, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and R&D to ensure smooth supply and timely delivery.

• Support sourcing of new materials, technologies, and services for product and technology development.

• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, reduce costs, and increase supply reliability.

• Support the continuous improvement of OPTOMAN's supplier portfolio and procurement processes.

Required superpowers

• Bachelor's degree.

• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or a similar role.

• Experience independently managing procurement cases and communicating with suppliers.

• Strong negotiation and commercial thinking skills.

• Ability to assess supplier offers based on price, quality, lead time, and total cost.

• Experience working with ERP/CRM systems and maintaining accurate procurement data.

• Ability to manage several priorities, identify supply risks, and act proactively.

• Strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

• Good cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.

• English B2 or higher.
