Responsibilities

Define, manage, and control the technical budget, including equipment maintenance, repairs, utilities, and capital investments.

Ensure reliable and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment through effective maintenance strategies and performance management, including downtime reduction and monitoring of technical KPIs such as MTBF and MTTR.

Analyze equipment reliability, failure causes, and lifecycle costs, and initiate actions to improve performance, availability, and cost efficiency.

Lead manufacturing expansion, technology, and infrastructure projects from technical concept selection through implementation, commissioning, and handover.

Drive equipment modernization, automation, and energy efficiency initiatives, including investment evaluation and ROI analysis.

Ensure reliable and efficient operation of engineering and utility systems, including electrical, water, compressed air, heating, cooling, and other facility infrastructure.

Manage external technical service providers and contractors, ensuring quality, safety, timelines, and cost targets are achieved.

Build, lead, and develop the technical team by defining structure, recruiting talent, setting objectives, coaching employees, and evaluating performance.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to support business growth and operational excellence.
Core Mission Ensure reliable, efficient, and sustainable operation of manufacturing equipment and infrastructure while defining the long-term maintenance and technology development strategy. Lead technical excellence initiatives that increase manufacturing performance, equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and business scalability.
Required Superpowers

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

Proven leadership experience in maintenance, engineering, technical operations, or a similar function within a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of equipment reliability, preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, failure analysis, and asset management principles.

Experience managing technical budgets, capital investments, manufacturing expansion projects, or major engineering initiatives.

Good knowledge of industrial utilities and engineering systems, including electrical, water, compressed air, heating, and cooling infrastructure.

Strong analytical thinking, project management, leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
-
Experience working with CMMS, ERP, or other maintenance management systems is considered a strong advantage.

Fluent Lithuanian (C1-C2) and English (minimum B2).
