Main responsibilities:

We are currently looking for a experienced Software & Hardware-in-the-Loop (SIL/HIL) Engineer to join our international aerospace team in Switzerland with a focus in developing, integrating, and maintaining simulation and test environments used for system verification within the Iron Bird Test Facility (IBTF).

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test environments.

• Support system modeling, simulation, and emulation activities for verification and validation purposes.

• Integrate aircraft data buses, signals, and interfaces into test environments.

• Develop and execute automated test procedures and analyze test results.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot and resolve system integration issues.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with SIL/HIL testing, simulation, or system integration environments.

• Knowledge of system modeling, emulation techniques, and real-time systems.

• Familiarity with aviation data buses, communication protocols, and signal interfaces.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills with a high level of ownership.

• Fluent English (C1) required, German is a plus
