Main responsibilities:

We are currently looking for a experienced Avionics Test Engineer to join our international aerospace team in Switzerland with a focus in the integration, testing, and validation of avionics systems within the Integrated Bird Test Facility (IBFT) / Iron Bird program.

Main responsibilities:

• Support the integration and testing of avionics systems and equipment.

• Define, implement, and maintain test setups, procedures, and capabilities.

• Plan, execute, and document test activities and results.

• Ensure configuration control of test hardware, software, and documentation.

• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in avionics testing, integration, or verification activities.

• Broad knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including measurement technology, data buses, EMC, and electronic hardware.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to technical challenges.

• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Fluent English (C1) required, German is a plus.
