Main responsibilities:
We are growing our Engineering team in Switzerland to support one of our top clients and are looking for experienced Mechanical Systems Engineers to work on the development, integration, verification and certification of aircraft systems.
We are hiring engineers with experience in ATA 21 - Environmental Control Systems (ECS) and ATA 28 - Fuel Systems, although experience in other aircrafts is also highly relevant.
Responsibilities:
System Development
-
Define system architectures, requirements, and interfaces

Support component selection and system integration
-
Manage technical interfaces with suppliers
Testing & Validation
-
Develop verification plans and test procedures
-
Support laboratory and aircraft-level testing
-
Analyze test data and resolve technical issues
Certification & Compliance
-
Support compliance with CS/FAR Part 23
-
Ensure designs comply with relevant aerospace standards (e.g., DO‑160, DO‑178, DO‑254, ARP4754A)
-
Prepare and review certification documentation and reports
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
-
Work with multicitiplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, software, and safety)

Participate in design reviews, hazard analyses, and system safety assessments (FMEA/FTA)
Required qualifications and experience:
-
Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar engineering
-
5+ years experience in aerospace mechanical systems
-
Experience with development, integration, verification, validation, and certification of aircraft systems
-
Knowledge of at least one ATA sytem (Fuel or ECS)
-
Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS)
-
Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system architecture documents

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Understanding of safety and reliability analyses (FMEA, FTA)
-
Data analysis & reporting skills together with flexibility for multi tasking activities
-
English fluent is a must, knowledge of German is a plus
