Responsibilities

  • Support research and engineering activities within optical technology development projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.

  • Perform assigned development tasks according to defined procedures, work instructions, and technical requirements.

  • Support experiments, testing, and evaluation of optical components and technologies.

  • Collect, analyse, and maintain accurate technical data and development records.

  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and other development materials.

  • Conduct literature reviews and gather technical information to support research and development activities.

  • Identify and communicate technical issues, deviations, and risks to the responsible engineer.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development methods and processes.

Core mission Support the R&D team in developing and improving optical technologies by reliably executing assigned research and engineering tasks, maintaining accurate technical information, and continuously developing technical expertise. ** Required superpowers**

  • Bachelor’s degree or ongoing Bachelor’s studies in Physics or a related field such as Materials Science, Photonics, or Engineering.

  • Basic understanding of optical components, photonics, and laser-related technologies.

  • Ability to work according to defined processes, procedures, and technical instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical data and documentation.

  • Ability to identify and escalate technical issues, deviations, and uncertainties.

  • Structured approach to work and good time management.

  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies, methods, and internal procedures.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with experienced engineers.

  • English B2 or higher.
