Det Accelererede forsvarsforlig fra 2024 løfter det årlige budget mod 60 milliarder kroner, Danmark passerede NATOs 2 pct.-mål i 2024 og tilsluttede sig på Haag-topmødet 2025 den nye NATO-målsætning om 3,5 pct. til forsvar og 1,5 pct. til relaterede områder frem mod 2035. Nye fregatprogrammer, F-35-indfasningen, ammunitionsopbygning og rumkapacitet driver efterspørgsel både hos primerne og hos den nye generation af tech-SMV'er. Indtil videre fokuserer DefenceJobs primært på innovative startups og mindre teknologivirksomheder, som bygger produkter til militære kunder. Væksten drives af flere sammenfaldende faktorer. Det Accelererede forsvarsforlig fra 2024 har åbnet en finansieringsramme, der ikke er set siden den kolde krig, og Danmark nåede NATOs 2 pct.-mål allerede i 2024. På Haag-topmødet 2025 tilsluttede Danmark sig desuden den nye målsætning om 3,5 pct. til forsvar og 1,5 pct. til relaterede områder frem mod 2035. F-35-indfasningen og nye fregater trækker både på primer og SMV'er, og Ukraine-støtten har skabt efterspørgsel på produkter som detektion af ueksploderet ammunition, kryptering og kamikazedroner, hvor danske startups er konkurrencedygtige mod meget større spillere.

I høj grad. GomSpace leverer nanosatellitter til over 60 lande og er blandt Europas mest eksporterende rumvirksomheder. Dencrypts krypterede kommunikation er NATO-godkendt og solgt bredt i alliancen. Dropla Tech opererer i Ukraine og søger kunder i andre lande med landminearv. Sky-Watch og UPTEKO sælger droner internationalt. For mange danske SMV'er er eksportmarkedet større end hjemmemarkedet, fordi Danmark alene er for lille til at bære udviklingsomkostninger.
Hvad kvalificerer en virksomhed til denne portal?+
Virksomheden skal bygge produkter eller tjenester, hvor militære eller forsvarsmæssige kunder er den primære målgruppe. En dansk cyber-SaaS, der sælger til banker, hører ikke hjemme her, selv hvis teknologien teoretisk kunne bruges i forsvar. En dansk droneleverandør til Forsvaret eller NATO passer derimod ind.
