Deutschland beheimatet die größte Rüstungs- und Verteidigungsindustrie der Europäischen Union. Das Beschaffungsvolumen wird über das BAAINBw abgewickelt und stützt sich auf einen Verteidigungshaushalt von rund 108 Milliarden Euro für 2026, kombiniert aus Kernetat und Sondervermögen. Die Verfassungsänderung vom März 2025 hat die Schuldenbremse für Verteidigungsausgaben oberhalb von 1% des BIP faktisch ausgesetzt und eröffnet damit einen mehrjährigen Investitionszyklus. Die bekannten Rüstungskonzerne wie Rheinmetall, Airbus Defence and Space, HENSOLDT, Diehl Defence, KNDS mit Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, MTU Aero Engines und Rohde & Schwarz sind noch nicht in unserem Portal vertreten. Unser Fokus liegt zunächst auf innovativen Startups und Technologie-Mittelständlern, typischerweise mit weniger als 300 Mitarbeitenden. Wir erweitern diesen Umfang schrittweise, sodass die großen Primes in späteren Phasen hinzukommen.

Drei Faktoren wirken zusammen. Die Zeitenwende im Februar 2022 markierte den politischen Kurswechsel und schuf das 100-Milliarden-Sondervermögen. Die Grundgesetzänderung vom März 2025 setzte die Schuldenbremse für Verteidigungsausgaben oberhalb von 1% des BIP faktisch aus. Und der Gesamthaushalt von rund 108 Milliarden Euro für 2026 schafft verlässliche mehrjährige Perspektiven für Hersteller, Zulieferer und Technologie-Startups, verbunden mit einem klaren Souveränitätsanspruch in Schlüsseltechnologien.

Exportieren deutsche Verteidigungs-Startups?+

Ja, in erheblichem Umfang. Quantum Systems liefert Aufklärungsdrohnen in die Ukraine und an NATO-Partner, Helsing kooperiert mit europäischen Streitkräften, Isar Aerospace adressiert den europäischen Kleinsatelliten-Markt. Viele Unternehmen nehmen an Projekten des Europäischen Verteidigungsfonds teil und bewerben sich um PESCO-Vorhaben. Exportgenehmigungen bleiben politisch sensibel und unterliegen strengen Prüfungen durch den Bundessicherheitsrat.
